Be educated, be organised, and be agitated.” These powerful words by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, one of the chief architects of the Indian Constitution, echoed through the virtual walls of St. Karen’s Primary School as we celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti with deep respect and enthusiasm.
To mark his birth anniversary, the St. Karen’s family came together for an engaging and meaningful online assembly. Students began the celebration with heartfelt prayers, followed by speeches and performances that reflected their admiration for the great leader.
A vibrant program was presented by the students, some of whom dressed as Dr. Ambedkar himself, eloquently sharing his vision through poems, songs, and inspirational quotes. Their presentations beautifully highlighted his tireless efforts in eliminating social inequality and shaping a progressive India.
The celebration also included an energetic dance performance, symbolizing cultural unity and diversity—perfectly resonating with Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals.
Students showed enthusiastic participation in a quiz session organized by teachers, displaying keen interest and awareness of Dr. Ambedkar’s life and legacy. They also watched an insightful documentary with great focus and curiosity.
As a tribute, students created thoughtful posters and powerful slogans, reflecting their understanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s principles. They proudly shared their creations in the online classes, showcasing their creativity and respect for the Father of the Indian Constitution.
