Description: On 26th July 2025, St. Karen’s Primary School organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting integrated with a Social Initiative on the theme “Say No to Single-Use Plastic.” The event aimed to raise awareness among parents and students about environmental responsibility through engaging and creative activities.
An Eco-Friendly Craft Exhibition – Best Out of Waste was organized, where students showcased innovative items made from recyclable materials. A Gratitude Wall allowed students and parents to express appreciation towards those helping protect the Earth, turning the space into a meaningful display of love and responsibility.
A lively Puppet Show became the highlight for many, where colourful characters conveyed the harmful effects of plastic on the environment. Through fun and storytelling, students explained the importance of switching to eco-friendly alternatives.
Interactive spaces like the Conversation Corner, PPT and Parent Survey encouraged open dialogue on sustainable practices and gathered insights into household plastic use. The Sale Exhibition featured handmade, eco-friendly products, while a Selfie Booth added fun and reinforced the event's green message.
The day concluded with a collective pledge to reduce plastic usage, proving that awareness, creativity, and collaboration can lead to a better and greener future.
