On Friday, 10 th August, ’18 St. Karen’s Primary School hosted an Inter-School English Duet and Hindi Patriotic Singing Competition. The programme started with the welcoming of the Chief Guest Mr. Ashutosh Kumar and Judges Ms Vandana Kumar and Ms Shikha Priyadarshi from the Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Anchors for the day were Abhimanuu and Anshika of Std.IV. The welcome Dance was performed by Std.V on the song ‘I have a dream….’ The song filled the whole environment with positive vibes and energy. The first performance of the event was the ‘Hindi Patriotic Group Singing Competition’ for the students of Std. I, II & III. The performance of all the groups brought a strong sense of patriotism and love for our motherland. The second part of the event was the ‘English Duet Singing Competition’ on the theme of Friendship. The anchors were Shalvi and Sampoorna. The students of Std.IV & V aroused the feeling of friendship and gladdened the audience with their peppy numbers. The Vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Angela.
